Shane Jansa, MSPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Shane has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics for over 23 years and owning his own clinic since 2003. He has experience in rehabbing orthopedic injuries and a long history of working with patients that have chronic pain, complicated injuries of the foot, migraines, sciatica, SI joint dysfunction and delayed recovery from orthopedic surgery.
He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is also certified to administer LSVT BIG and certified in Functional Dry Needling from Kinetacore.
Through his knowledge in fitness, biomechanics, and neurological disorders he has developed (Evolution Fitness) which is a specific medical fitness model that has shown great success for graduates of Physical Therapy.
Lori Jansa, DPT
Lori grew up in Geneva, Nebraska and graduated from York High School. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1994. She continued her physical therapy education at Creighton University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 1997. Over her career, she has had vast experience in many areas ranging from women’s health to geriatrics to work injuries/occupational health. Recently, she brushed up on her Lymphedema treatment skills learned as a new therapist and is ready to see new patients. In our office, Lori wears many hats and is able to assist patients with insurance and billing questions in addition to her physical therapy duties. Outside of work, Lori loves spending time outdoors or in Colorado with her husband, Shane, and two teenage sons, Ben and Ryan.
Erica Barela, DC
Dr. Erica has been practicing in a family wellness setting since 2014 and owning her own clinic, Anchor Chiropractic since 2016. She has worked in large family practices in Michigan and Nebraska prior to opening her own clinic. In March of 2018 she joined the Horizon team. She has experience in rehabbing disc injuries and a long history of working with patients that have chronic pain, pregnancy, migraines, sciatica, SI joint dysfunction, rib dysfunction and shoulder pain. Dr. Erica is experienced in caring for individuals of all ages, from babies to the elderly.
Dr. Erica has a passion for health and wellness. Being able to help others become well and able to be active in their own lives is the greatest part of being a chiropractor. Dr. Erica resides in Plymouth, NE with her husband Aaron and their three dogs.

Jessica Stockamp, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Jessica Stockamp earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree from Southeast Community college in Lincoln. She graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2016. Her interest in Physical Therapy came after finding the love of fitness herself. She is motivated to help others reach their health and fitness goals.
Jessica works alongside the physical therapists at Horizon Physical Therapy to help patients improve mobility, and promote overall fitness and wellness. Jessica also helps coordinate our 12 Week Fitness Programs for Evolution Fitness Members, and performs pre-employment screens for various facilities in the Lincoln area. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Courtney Tvrdy, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Courtney Tvrdy earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2017 and an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2019 from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. Courtney grew up in Central City, NE, where she played softball, basketball and ran track. Courtney’s first experience where she knew she wanted to do physical therapy when she hurt her ankle. She then fell in love with helping people get back to what they love to do after she was a physical therapy tech and would see the change people had from their first appointment to their last. When not working, Courtney loves to be around her family, friends and being outside.
